About Toyota

Undoubtedly, Toyota is one of the greatest names in the Automobile world, especially in the GCC country and in the Middle East in general. Toyota was founded by Kashiro Toyoda and has experienced continuous growth from a small family business to one of the largest and most important companies in the world. Toyota has achieved great success in the Middle East, where the GCC area has become one of the largest auto markets in the world. Among the most successful models in it: "Toyota Camry", which became prevalent on the streets of the Gulf, as was the Land Cruiser model in the eighties and nineties, one of the most important SUVs in the Gulf markets, especially in Qatar. According to stats, Toyota has the largest market share in Qatar, which is at 30.53 percent.

Vehicles like the Toyota Land Cruiser and Corolla are very popular in Qatar and all GCC countries. The results of a field study of the rate of car consumption in Qatar showed that Toyota surpassed the lowest car consumption percentage, followed by Hyundai and Mitsubishi and then Nissan. The study relied on a comparison of the average prices of the Qatari market for used and equal cars in type, model and condition, including the mileage other cars, and between Prices for new cars according to the prices of Qatar in the famous "Yalla Arab Motor" site. Toyota Land Cruiser is still the most common automobile in Qatar, followed by the Toyota Hilux and Toyota Prado. Toyota is the first in the world in terms of the number of units produced, as its production reached 9497754 units in 2007. Toyota Corolla is the best-selling car and best-selling vehicle in history as more than 31.6 million units have been sold since its launch in 1966 to 2005 within nine generations. Also, the Toyota Prius 2004 is the first self-parking car, and the Toyota Prius 1997 is the first modern hybrid car.
